Join us for an evening of poetry, storytelling, and the joy of the in-between for the first Read Writing Hood of 2026, together at Eritage as we close the latest exhibition by David Shillinglaw, with the theme: Only Human.

​Read Writing Hood is a container of soulful expression and witnessing through the powerful art of word. We gather 11 micro performances in expressing what is held within, throughout.

​“Only Human” is an invitation to reflect on the complex intricacies and innate synergies of what it means to be, human.

​This experience is hosted and curated by Anna Mouchref, poet, performer, and creative alchemist who weaves language into portals of transformation. Through typewritten poetry, her signature creation of Dreamweaving, and immersive experiences, she is a bridge of emotion, imagination, and truth. Her containers like Read Writing Hood invite you to reclaim voice, rewrite myth, and make poetry a living, breathing ritual.

​This event is non-profit and supports the artists who photograph, orchestrate, and curate the experience. Please note that the entry window closes at 7:30pm sharp.

​Light food & drinks available for purchase provided by Eritage. 🌼 Please arrive in advance as early as 6:30pm if you’d like to enjoy a beverage or small bite.
