“BREATH is an exhibition about what we have forgotten. Beginning with the breath — the body's most primal act — it traces a rupture: from ancient peoples who knew how to breathe with the earth, through the severing of that connection by colonization and relentless growth.
The environmental crisis is the visible consequence of a world that has learned to extract without reciprocity, and to grow without limit — a model built on eternal growth that leaves no margin for rest, no permission to breathe.
Three women artists from three continents — Brittany Ferns, Flora Castiglia, and Loutje Hoekstra — respond through myth, instinct, and the body itself.
The exhibition proposes a return: not as escape, but as resistance.
