Eritage is thrilled to announce a remarkable event where the worlds of art, gastronomy, and wine blend in an extraordinary celebration. Inspired by our current exhibition "Metamorphosis" we developed an immersive dining experience that awakens all the senses.
Prepare for an evening to remember, created by the British Chef Jamie Osborne, from the charming town of Porthleven, Cornwall. Jamie's culinary journey is marked by a passion for combining diverse tastes and stories, particularly inspired by the rich and varied flavors of Asian fusion cuisine. His approach to cooking transforms each dish into a narrative of its own.
For this edition of our Art Dinner titled 'Tapestry of Flavors', in dialogue with 'Metamorphosis'—an exhibition featuring artists from the UK, US, Brazil, the Netherlands, São Tomé e Príncipe, and Portugal — The inclusion of an Asian-inspired menu symbolizes the rich tapestry of global influences and the continuous exchange of ideas, flavors, and traditions across continents. This culinary choice is a testament to the continuous evolution and blending of cultures, reminiscent of the historical trade routes that connected Asia with the rest of the world.
In line with the transformative essence of "Metamorphosis," Chef Jamie has developed an original three-course menu in a vibrant collaboration with the renowned Sommelier, Justin O'Hanlon.
This unique collaboration offers an opportunity to experience a sophisticated interplay of flavors, textures, and aromas, intricately aligned with the showcased artworks. Justin O'Hanlon's carefully curated wine selection not only complements Jamie’s culinary creations but also resonates with the themes of our current exhibition, enhancing the overall sensory journey and creating a harmonious experience for both the palate and artistic expression.
The artistic dinning experience will be concluded with a music performance by Mbye Ebrima [Gambia]: a kora player, songwriter, singer and storyteller.
