A partir de uma pesquisa poética ambientada entre o universo lúdico do jogo e a dramaticidade característica do movimento neo-expressionista, a artista carioca Pérola Maia Bonfanti cruza o oceano e chega a Wozen para apresentar a mais completa exposição de sua jovem carreira plástica: a individual “Se Uma Janela Dá Para o Céu e a Outra Para o Inferno, a Porta Abre Para Onde?”, aberta ao público até o dia 20 de Novembro. O cru dos recortes do tecido, o traço marcado no rústico do carvão e os desenhos que rompem as telas e ganham as paredes… A pergunta está no ar, e as portas abertas.
Entre trabalhos recentes, todos centrados em figuras de crianças asiáticas, e obras de "sua primeira fase", de evidente influência grega, a artista carioca reverencia sua carreira, a evolução do seu trabalho e, acima de tudo, o ser humano pluralista - que, independentemente da sua origem, idade ou credo, estará sempre mergulhado em afeto. A apresentação de murais híbridos que se expandem para a parede e o uso das portas originárias do edifício em instalação, além de dar vida e fazer jus ao título, adiciona à exposição o toque fundamental do conceito lúdico-fenomenológico desenvolvido pelo artista.

From a poetic research acclimated between the playful universe of the game and drama characteristic of the neo expressionist movement, Pérola Maia Bonfanti, an artist from Rio cruzes the ocean and lands at Wozen to introduce the most complete exhibition of her young artist's career: an individual entitled “Se uma Janela Dá Para o Céu e a Outra Para o Inferno, a Porta Abre Para Onde? (If a Windows Opens to the Sky and Another to Hell, the Door Opens To Where?), opened to the public until 20th of November. The rawness in her fabric clippings, her trace marked on rustic coal and drawings that break the screens and gain the walls… The question is in the air, and the doors are open
Amongst her recent works, all centered in figures of asiatic children, and works of “her first stage”, from evident greek influence, the carioca artist reverence her career, the evolution of her work and, above all, the pluralistic human - who, regardless of their origin, age or creed, will always be steeped in affection. Hybrids support murals that expand to the wall and the use of originating doors of the building installation, in addition to life and to live up to the title, add to the exposure the key touch of playful-phenomenological concept developed by the artist.
