Delia Hamer is a visual artist with roots in Germany and Spain whose practice moves across drawing, painting and installation. Her work inhabits a space between the poetic and the material — exploring time, transience and the fragile nature of perception through works that are at once delicate and precise.
In 2022, Hamer presented new work at ERITAGE Studio Gallery in Lisbon as part of the duo exhibition Do Sandclocks Dream of the Wind? along with the American artist Lauren Dela Roche, a show that examined the relationship between impermanence and form.
In 2022, Eritage Studio Gallery proudly presented Delia Hamer Duo Show alongside Lauren dela Roche.

In 2022, Eritage Art Gallery invited Delia Hamer for her duo exhibition with Lauren dela Roche, “Do Sandclocks Dream of the Wind?” — where the artist unveiled six original paintings created specially for the show.
Born in Germany in 1992 and raised in the countryside of southern Spain, Delia Hamer’s work opens a portal into a dreamlike realm where the personal and the mythological intertwine. Her paintings emerge from deep psychological landscapes — reflections of inner journeys that resonate with universal emotions.
Solitary female figures, often nude and powerful in their vulnerability, inhabit vibrant oneiric scenes saturated with color. Eyes closed, they retreat inward, embodying contemplation and resilience. Around them roam wild creatures and felines — once symbols of inner demons, now transformed into companions and keepers of strength.
In Delia’s universe, Greek and biblical mythologies converge with intimate memory, creating a space where angst and solace, danger and tenderness coexist. The tension between these forces echoes the eternal cycles of rebirth and self-discovery — the artist’s inexhaustible source of inspiration.
