Wozen Studio convidou a comunidade lisboeta para a primeira atividade com os artistas em residência | Expanded Eye - formado pelo casal londrino Jade Tomlinson e Kevin James. 

Open Studio é um enfoque ao processo e ao feedback uma vez que serão apresentadas obras não terminadas. Acreditamos em uma troca espontânea e linear de ideias que surge das relações pessoais e geralmente imprevisíveis entre os artistas, galeristas e a comunidade envolvida no projeto em questão.

Open Studio: focus on process and feedback as the artists will present works in progress. We believe in a spontaneous and horizontal exchanges of ideas that arises from the personal and often unpredictable relations between artists, gallerists and the community involved in that particular project.

OUT 2018 - Tinta ao Tinto | Indomésticos

A partir da performance INDOMÉSTICOS dos artistas Thiago Goms e Izabel Nejur, o público é convidado a criar através de desenhos, pinturas, colagens, a sua interpretação sobre a apresentação. O exercício tem como objetivo praticar uma reflexão aos padrões sociais, a necessidade de ressignificar nosso olhar sobre criatividade e a não domesticação dos sentimentos como gatilho para o novo.

From the performance INDOMÉSTICOS of the artists Thiago Goms and Izabel Nejur, The public was invited to create through drawings, paintings, collages, their interpretation on the presentation. The exercise aims to practice a reflection on social standards, the need to re-signify our gaze on creativity and the non-domestication of feelings as a trigger for the new.

Wozen is pleased to announce the opening of the calendar for the second half of 2018 with the activity: Shall we talk about Agroforestry? Through the challenge of dedicating our space to the daily development of WOrld citiZEN, or only WOZEN, an interested and engaged inhabitant who the future of our planet calls for, we open the doors to talk about Agroforestry and Permacutura.

‘‘One Meatball’ is a collaboration between artist Ines Neto dos Santos and musicians Leonie Evans (guitar) and Garance (accordion). A Wozen​ tem o prazer de apresentar o projecto O TEMPO DAS HUACAS, uma colaboração de Filipa Cordeiro e Rui Mourão​ que procura activar o diálogo em torno da exibição dos corpos mumificados de dois jovens Chancay no Museu Arqueológico do Carmo​, em Lisboa.

O TEMPO DAS HUACAS propõe, em suma, um convite à escuta e ao exercício de um outro olhar, não musealizado, que possa encontrar-se com o mundo na sua complexidade e imprevisibilidade. Para tal, é necessário começar por reconhecer os desequilíbrios historicamente construídos que habitam o quotidiano, para então imaginar como podem ser tecidos novos modos de relação, dentro e fora dos museus.

Players and spectators can keep their energy up by buying ice creams made by Ines Neto dos Santos, who has invented recipes to represent each of the residency artists’ practices.

Os jogadores e espectadores podem se animar comprando sorvetes feitos por Inês Neto dos Santos, que inventou receitas para representar cada uma das práticas dos artistas da residência.

Open Talk + Screening with José Carlos Teixeira

A fim de gerar espaço para a conversa, a empatia, e a intimidade, esta atividade na Wozen é um convite para um olhar reflexivo sobre, por um lado, a doença mental e depressão, e, por outro, o estatuto de refugiado no contexto atual. O conceito de exílio é examinado a partir de uma perspectiva geopolítica e também interpretado metaforicamente.

In order to create space for empathy, intimacy and unbiased conversation, this activity at Wozen is an invitation for a reflexive look at, on the one hand, mental illness and depression, and, on the other, the refugee status in the present context. The concept of exile is both examined from a geopolitical perspective, and interpreted metaphorically.

On June 13th Primal and Coração de Cacau invited the Lisbon community for an intimate midweek sound. cacao. and silence. gathering to practice deep inner listening at Wozen Studio. We were bathed in sound waves and take our time as we move and dance our bodies and our instruments from a place of empty inner space. 

In the world we live in today, silence is threatened by incessant talk and chatter which undermines music but also leads us to a state of confusion as we detach from what is really our own souls sound and rhythm. It is through this deep inner listening that we are able to express and create from the inside out, and truly hear and share a piece of what our soul whispers within. This is because in silence our experience of the world recedes and our feeling of isolation and our interior being increases.

Traumatismo - Partindo da ideia de trauma esta oficina propõe a reciclagem de objetos-memória através da criação de novos objetos por meio de uma variedade de técnicas artísticas.

Traumatismo: Starting from the idea of trauma, this workshop proposes the recycling of memory objects in order to transform them into a new one through a creative freedom guided by the artistic techniques of the winter residents.

Perestroika | Criatividade como estratégia de Negócio

“Quando foi a última vez que pensou de forma criativa?” - Precisamos entender que criatividade não é um dom. Precisamos desmistificar a lógica da geração de idéias. Precisamos ressignificar nosso olhar sobre criatividade.

For this workshop Perestroika addressed issues related to entrepreneurship, professional skills 2020 and creative mindset | The goal is to enable young people and adults to reshape their own talents by changing the filter about how they look at things, demystifying the logic of generating ideas, and recognizing that creativity is a skill that can be developed.

"Vamos Criar Monstros?": Nesta oficina vamos ouvir uma pequena história com um livro pop-up: “O Monstro das Cores” sobre “as emoções explicadas às crianças através das cores.

"Shall We Create Monsters?": In this workshop we will hear a short story from a pop-up book: "The Color Monster" on "the emotions explained to children through colors.

Através de um projecto colaborativo entre os artistas residentes e Wozen, oficinas artísticas foram especialmente concebidas de forma a integrar as várias premissas que enquadram a residência de inverno.
