Born in 1982 he grew up in London and went on to graduate from Central Saint Martin’s in 2002. Currently lives and works in Margate, UK.

“The british artist is renowned for exploring themes around the "mind human condition" – David works in this conflicted and messy space, which ultimately relates to the human condition: a relentless need for control within a disordered world. Nascido em 1982, ele cresceu em Londres e se formou na Central Saint Martin em 2002. Atualmente vive e trabalha em Margate, Reino Unido. O artista britânico é conhecido por explorar temas em torno da “condição da mente humana” – David Shillinglaw atua neste espaço conflituoso e confuso, que em última análise se relaciona com a condição humana: uma necessidade implacável de controle dentro de um mundo desordenado.
